Mrs. Laura Jean (Davis) Singley
Age 94 of Jellico, Tennessee passed away Saturday, February 21, 2026, at home. She was born February 10, 1932, in a coal mining camp in Four Mile, Kentucky. She was a graduate of Jellico High School class of 1950 and a graduate of Cumberland College class of 1973. Jean was a Kindergarten Teacher at Jellico Elementary School for 27 years, and a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.

Husband of 11 years: Calvin Oscar Singley, who passed away January 20, 1967
Father: Virgil Davis, Sr.
Mother: Cecil (Lawson) Davis
Sisters: Rosa Marie & Myrtle Mae Davis
Brother: Virgil Davis, Jr.
Sister-in-law: Clara Davis

Three sons: Gary Singley & wife Angie, Darrell Singley & wife Kathy of Corbin, Kentucky, Terry Singley of Jellico
One Daughter: Pam York & husband Darrell of Jellico
Grandchildren: Beth & husband Greg McCreary of London, Rachael Singley of Jellico, Kayla & husband Travis Crabtree of Corbin, Jessie & husband Jonathan Powell of Corbin, Jaron Singley of Williamsburg.
Great Grandchildren: Caleb, Connor, Jason, Olivia, Elaina, Peyton
